B、Key Course

Drama and Social Exploration

In order to provide as many opportunities for students to practice English as possible, all CSA students must participate in drama lessons in F.1. At the end of the year, they have the chance to perform the play they have been practicing throughout the year.

English Fun Day

English Fun Day is a themed event designed to make learning and using English exciting, interactive, and fun! It’s not just about language; it’s about confidence, creativity, and connection. Sometimes we do it at school and sometimes we go to other places to learn!

Phonics and Foundation

Phonics skills are important for every student learning English. This skill helps them decode new words and relate meanings to them. This is done with attractive storybooks. Apart from learning to say new words, students also learn basic sentence structure and gain grammar awareness in phonics lessons.

Activities with NETs

To give our students greater exposure to the language, they can participate in various activities and competitions conducted by the English Department. These activities provide ample opportunities to enrich their language skills, many of which are run by the NETs.

Shakespeare4All Drama Club

Drama not only brings fun to the classroom. It allows students to use their language skills and creativity while discussing ideas with others. Students learn to express themselves through body language, facial expressions, and tones while comprehending scripts.
